Service Overview
The Rusty Mowers provides residential lawn mowing services in the Kansas City Northland area. By signing up, you agree to these terms.
Pricing
Prices are based on estimated yard size. We measure your yard before the first mow and may adjust pricing if the actual size differs from your estimate. You will be notified of any price changes before service begins.
The 50% first-mow discount applies once per address per calendar year, for both recurring and on-demand service types.
Service Types
- Recurring: Weekly mowing on a floating schedule. We will notify you before each visit. You may reply SKIP to skip a week, provide a specific date to reschedule, or reply CANCEL to switch to on-demand service.
- On-Demand: We check in periodically to see if you'd like a mow. No obligation — reply YES to schedule, NO to skip, or CANCEL to stop check-ins.
SMS Communications
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages related to your service. You can manage your preferences using these reply keywords:
- YES — Confirm a scheduled mow
- NO / SKIP — Skip the next mow
- CANCEL — Switch from recurring to on-demand
- STOP — Stop all messages and deactivate service
- START — Reactivate your account after stopping
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service type and schedule.
Payment & Billing
A valid payment method is required on file. Your card is pre-authorized when a mow is scheduled and charged upon completion. If you skip or cancel a scheduled mow, the pre-authorization is released.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We may need to reschedule due to weather, access issues, or other circumstances. You will be notified by text if your mow is rescheduled. You may reschedule by replying with a preferred date.
Limitation of Liability
The Rusty Mowers is not liable for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler heads, or other objects not visible at mowing height. Please ensure your yard is clear of debris, toys, and other obstacles before your scheduled mow.
